Modular forklift training

Every year, the employers' liability insurance associations register more than 15,000 accidents involving industrial trucks, most of which result in significant property damage and personal injury.

According to DGUV principle 308-001/DGUV regulation (formerly BGG925/BGV D27), companies are obliged to ensure the suitability of their forklift drivers and to instruct them.

The employers' liability insurance association requires, among other things, training to drive industrial trucks and proof of successful training. In case of doubt, it is not the driver who is liable, but the company and its responsible managers.

B.I.L.T regularly organises forklift training courses. During these training courses, great importance is attached to high quality and thorough training in accordance with the accident prevention regulations! Upon successful completion of the theoretical and practical examinations, participants receive a driver's licence.

We can offer forklift training all year round, regardless of the weather, in our fully equipped 450 square metre training centre, which is unique in the region. Various types of forklift trucks are available to participants for training purposes.

The forklift training course can be subsidised via a training voucher or activation and placement voucher.

It is possible to join the course at short notice. The duration can be 1 to 3 weeks depending on the previous knowledge and experience of the participants. For inexperienced participants, we recommend a 3-week training course with an intensive practical component.

Here, participants learn and practise driving the various forklift trucks to perfection; they are thus immediately equipped for professional use. Participants with operational practice and experience can also achieve this goal in a 1 or 2-week course.

The practical training sessions take place in the training centre, regardless of the weather. This is where safe handling of the forklift truck is practised, starting with simple driving exercises through to more difficult training courses.
