For the qualification as "Certified logistics foreman (IHK)" requires at least six years of relevant professional experience or a completed apprenticeship as a warehouse specialist IHK or warehouse logistics specialist, including five years of professional experience as a minimum requirement. On the one hand, this enables you to continue your education while working and at the same time gain valuable practical experience.

Training as a logistics master
The Training as a logistics master is divided into the Levels 3 to 5which are labelled as Admission requirement valid Levels 1 (Warehouse Specialist IHK) and 2 (Warehouse Logistics Specialist IHK) build up. Each stage forms a self-contained unit and is finished with a Examination at the IHK completed. All three levels are completed in succession during the training programme. The Logistics master courses are designed to ensure comprehensive preparation for the IHK examination.
The IHK Logistics Master is an additional qualification that opens up exciting career opportunities for you. The further training programme is available for those with the following qualifications Warehouse logistics specialist who want to develop professionally.
The Master craftsman qualification for warehouse logistics specialist enables specialists to take on management tasks and expand their career prospects. The Master Warehouse Logistics Requirements ensure that you are fully prepared for your new tasks and have the necessary knowledge and skills to work successfully in the logistics industry.

Logistics Master Contents
The logistics foreman training programme is intended for skilled workers who have already completed a warehouse specialist training course and would like to gain further qualifications in the logistics sector. The logistics foreman curriculum is divided into three levels. The extra-occupational advanced training to become a logistics master optimally prepares you for further challenges and responsibilities in the logistics industry.
Basic qualification (level 3):
- Attendance at specialist level 1 (warehouse specialist) and specialist level 2 (warehouse logistics specialist) or
- Vocational qualification as a warehouse specialist (IHK) and participation in specialist level 2 (warehouse logistics specialist) or
- Vocational qualification as a warehouse logistics specialist (IHK)
Training of trainers AdA (level 4):
- Completed training
Action-specific qualification (level 5):
- Participation in specialisation level 1 (warehouse specialist), 2 (warehouse logistics specialist) and 3 (basic qualification) or
- Vocational qualification as a warehouse clerk (IHK) and participation in specialist level 2 (warehouse logistics specialist) and 3 (basic qualification) or
- Vocational qualification as a warehouse logistics specialist (IHK) and participation in level 3 (basic qualification)

Part-time advanced training programme
The Logistics master craftsman training is realised by the Advancement BAföG sponsored. You can receive financial support for your vocational training. This support includes grants towards the course and examination fees as well as a low-interest loan for living expenses. The Aufstiegs-BAföG thus facilitates access to the qualification as a logistics master craftsman (IHK).
