Specialist in freight transport and logistics (IHK)
The Freight Transport and Logistics Specialist qualification is a further training course in the field of logistics and freight transport. This qualification enables you to work in managerial positions in the logistics sector and acquire comprehensive knowledge in the areas of transport, warehousing, supply chain management and logistics management.
The tasks of freight transport and logistics specialists include the development, creation and marketing of freight transport and logistics services as well as management and communication activities.

The training programme is divided into two modules, each lasting 11 months. Firstly, the business-related qualifications are taught and confirmed with a partial examination; this is followed by the business-specific qualifications with a final examination.
The training takes place in our modern training rooms and the training hall.
We offer practical exam preparation before the final exams. This can be booked individually as required and fulfils the requirements for statutory educational leave.

Promotion
- Training is available for up to 80 % via the Advancement BAföG eligible. Payment by instalments is possible.
Prerequisites
- with a degree in freight forwarding and logistics services and at least 1 year of professional experience or
- with a degree in another commercial profession at least 2 years of professional experience or
- or at least 5 years of professional experience.
- The professional experience must be substantially related to the functions of a freight transport and logistics specialist. The IHK decides on admission.
